Solution to Puzzle #4

The easiest way to solve this baffling conundrum is to subtract

the the number of lollipops from the number of chocolate bars

left and over and divide this by the difference between the number

of lollipops distributed to each friend and that of the chocolate bars.

One must also account for the two extra people who ate from the treats.

In numbers, this is ((82-13)/(7-4))= 69/3= 23

23+2= 25

Therefore, 25 people ate the treats.
